Auto Body Repair Process
Estimate
The vehicle is inspected by one of our experienced damage appraisers. An initial estimate is sent to the insurance company for authorization. Our staff will assist you in working with your insurance company to make the process as smooth as possible.
Disassembly
Once the vehicle is disassembled, we often find damage that wasn’t visible upon initial inspection. A Supplemental Estimate will be submitted to the insurance company. Repairs will begin after receiving authorization.
Parts
All parts down to the tiniest nut and bolt must be ordered for each repair. Depending on where they come from, this can take some time.Once received, the structural repairs are done using our top-of-the-line unibody system. Your vehicle’s frame will be returned to factory specifications.
Paint
After a body repair, what do people notice first? The paint job! Prepping a vehicle for painting is a precise task. Since all new body parts arrive black, they must be painted to match the vehicle’s color.
Reassembly
Almost finished. After the vehicle is reassembled, any needed mechanical work is done such as engine repairs and wheel alignment. The vehicle is thoroughly detailed and ready to roll.
Health Scans
Your vehicle’s “health” will be scanned before and after repairs to ensure it’s in tip-top running order. In newer vehicles with sophisticated accident avoidance technology, sensors will need to be re-calibrated.
